Summary
My name is Sierra Knight, I am 22 years of age, I have recently completed a training course and I just received my Certified Peer Specialist Certification (CPS). I have big plans to help peers in their recovery process by sharing my story and bringing them that spark of hope they need in order to jump start their recovery. I have always been one to help others in their time of need, and I myself have lived experience in Mental Health,Trauma, Alcohol Abuse, as well as Drug Abuse. I have been through years of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Generic Counseling. I have suffered with Mental Health my whole life from not only my family but myself as well. I am in a really good place with my recovery and think it is my calling to help others with their recovery as well. I want to be able to provide the resources and support my peers need in order to be successful. I believe that if I can do it then anyone can and I believe that everyone is worthy of a second chance.
