I am searching for a professional role that will leverage my work ethic, passion for math, and personable nature to kickstart my career in actuarial science/data analytics. I started working at age 14 at a local cafe developing and maintaining a strong work ethic. Taking my financial responsibilities seriously has led me to put myself through college, buy a car at 19, move into my first apartment, afford to be in the Tri Delta organization for 4 years, and travel to various countries to volunteer in local communities. My passion for mathematics fully developed in my junior year of college when I switched majors from visual arts to mathematics. Although I was two years behind other math majors, I was determined to graduate in my scheduled year. From summer classes to taking four of the highest-level MATH/STAT courses per semester, my hard work paid off. Now, I am currently studying for the first actuary exam, Exam P. I look forward to finding an actuarial position.
