Versatile, reliable and adaptable, I excelled at Sherwin-Williams, mastering customer service and paint technology, showcasing my ability to learn quickly and take on larger responsibilities such as having my own key to the store and handling bank deposits. My background spans from excellent customer service to efficient event organization, maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse, which highlights my blend of communication skills, flexible problem-solving skills and the ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done. I have always had a passion for Italy and the Italian language so it has always been a dream of mine to live there and earn my keep within the country. I hope that I can prove to you my worth through handwork and reliability. I am eager to learn everything that is associated with my future job or career I may pursue.
This was a seasonal job I partook in during my break from university. I was a server at the local country club. It was definitely a new experience for me because I am usually not around the rich and "high class" of society so it was almost a new world for me in its own. I was taught a lot about fine dining, and how to properly present foods and wines to the tables. I was also put behind the bar for a little bit, but I have no major experience in mixing cocktails. I just try to find my use wherever I can. I enjoy helping my colleagues in any way I can. We would set up and host various events, such as big work parties, casual lunches, Sunday buffets, etc. I was only here for a very brief time, but I was enlightened on so many things I did not know previously.
As a Paint Sales Associate, I learned a lot about paint overall, how to perform better with customers, and how to satisfy their needs to the best of my abilities. I was fortunate enough to work with amazing, patient people who taught me a lot throughout the years. I was given a key to the store after a year of working there and was opening and closing the store by myself for the majority of my time working at Sherwin-Williams. My main tasks were assisting customers, putting up the paint stock in the warehouse, delivery driving our paint to other businesses, opening and closing the shop, taking the deposits to the bank after closing, and maintaining a clean work environment. It was definitely one of the first jobs that gave me a lot of responsibility, and I appreciated the trust they put in me. Just to highlight a few of the things.
This was my second job at a local restaurant. This was my introduction to the food industry, and it was a lot, needless to say. I had to catch on really quickly to be useful, but I do not mind the challenge. I started out simply helping to make small side dishes and delivering orders. After a while, I started helping in the kitchen more and became closer with the kitchen staff. After a while, I just remained in the kitchen, helping with orders and helping to serve when there were not enough servers.
As a server I
As a Delivery Driver I
This was my first job, and it was definitely a lot of fun. I was 16 at the time, and I would always come here as a kid, so I already knew everyone and everything there was to know. I initially started out as the person who would hand you your roller skates, but over time they began to trust me with more tasks. After a while, I was taught how to fix and maintain the arcade machines, and how to operate a Zamboni to clean the floor after Friday nights. I learned how to fix and repair roller skates. It was a very easy, beginner job that taught me a lot about customer service, and how to be responsible within a business. I also worked with some really fun people, and they were a lot of fun to be around, which made it all the better.
As I have stated before I began working at the Roller Skating Rink and that stems back to an early hobby of mine of roller skating. I played Baseball throughout majority of my childhood so I was a very active kid. I have always enjoyed being active and doing things that require some skill to be good at it. For example my current hobby is fire performing. My biggest passion though has to be the Italian language. I fell in love with Italy when I was a little kid and have always dreamt of living there one day.
